In the third quarter of 2024, the top news and magazines apps on the unified platform in Hungary showcased varied performance trends based on weekly downloads and active user data, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Hírstart - hírek és időjárás experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting with around 665 at the beginning of July and gradually declining to 487 by the end of September.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar maintained a relatively stable download rate, beginning at 328 downloads per week and concluding the quarter with a similar figure. Active users for this app saw a slight increase from approximately 6K in early July to over 6.7K by the end of the quarter.

Tomorrow's Affairs had an interesting trajectory with downloads peaking dramatically at 1.8K in late September, following a period of low activity. Active users followed a similar pattern, with numbers rising sharply to over 3.2K in the same period.

RTL.hu hírek, sztárok, videók showed a significant increase in weekly downloads towards early September, reaching 1.5K, before settling at 219 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a gradual decline with a slight recovery in early September, reaching a peak before decreasing again.

Lastly, Way2News Daily News App saw a consistent yet modest download rate throughout the quarter, starting at 286 and slightly dropping to 89 by the end. Despite the dip in downloads, active users remained robust, averaging around 34K throughout the quarter.
